About this event
Social Arts Festival (SAF) is a non profit – fundraising arts event. This is a 5th year of its existence and the second time in Person and Online from Amazonia – Algodoal Island in North Brazil at Flowmove arts centre on Princesinha beach.
We’ll broadcast live performance in person and online from the beach by the Atlantic Ocean on Maiandeua Archipelago to celebrate an incredible artistic work of native indigenous artists and from all over the world.
This particular uncertain time we are living now gives us space to create and perform. Festival is about manifestation of human rights violation and social injustice through performing and visual arts. We can share all the frustrations and injustice, any pain, violation of our rights during this difficult time we are living.
The time of crisis gives even more the opportunity to create and express emotions and feelings the artists are going through and share them with the audiance from the comfort of each one home and from the comfort of this beautiful beach, dunes, jungle paradise in Amazonia in Para region of North Brazil.

More about the Social Arts Festival:
It is an event of dance, any form of art and performance aimed at raising awareness of social issues and the violation of human rights.
This platform is for professional and amateur artists who can craft their own art in any form, create a visual performance and share it with an audience.
Each year we foundries for a cause.
This year by donating you contribute to the environment improvement by decreasing the pollution of the ocean. The outcome of the festival is to educate, share, support arts and build the bins to recycle glass, plastic and metal/aluminium on Algodoal Island in Amazonia – North Brazil.

– free – not for profit – by donation – live: in person in Amazonia and online event accessible to everyone to perform and watch
– unique and only kind live in person and streamed event which covers performing, visual art, human rights and social issues broadcasted from the heart of Amazonia
– the programme consists of a variety of performances such as dance, aerial, circus, theatre, music, film, story telling, and many more on the subject
– the collective team of volunteers from all over the world supports the event to make it outstanding and interesting
– it’s the first ever in person and online event presented on Algodoal Island – in the heart of indigenous culture in North Brazil, which we hope to continue and expand globally
– we will raise money to educate, share, support arts and build the bins to recycle glass, plastic and metal/aluminium on Algodoal Island in Amazonia – North Brazil.
Let’s act against the pollution of the oceans by helping the small local indigenous communities to build the recycling bins on their islands in archipelago of Maiandeua.
The charities we have already supported in last three years:
2018 “Room to heal” is a human rights charity and therapeutic community based in London which supports refugees and asylum seekers who have survived torture, trafficking and other gross human rights abuses to rebuild their lives in exile through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance.
2019 “Black Women Rising” is a charity based in London which brings awareness of cancer in the ethnical minority of females of colour.
2020 World Heath Organisation “WHO” helps fight coronavirus.
The Festival is organised in collaboration with FlowMove – a movement and well-being company, the performing arts association LCP Dance Theatre – award winner for the best human rights choreographies founded by Joanna Puchala.

O Social Arts Festival (SAF) é um evento artístico sem fins lucrativos para arrecadação de fundos. Este é o 5º ano de sua existência e a primeira vez Presencial e Online da Amazônia – Ilha de Algodoal no Norte do Brasil.
Iremos transmitir uma performance ao vivo pessoalmente e online da praia do Oceano Atlântico no Arquipélago de Maiandeua para celebrar um incrível trabalho artístico de artistas indígenas nativos e de todo o mundo.
Este tempo particular de incerteza que estamos vivendo agora nos dá espaço para criar e atuar. Festival é sobre a manifestação de violação dos direitos humanos e injustiça social por meio das artes cênicas e visuais. Podemos compartilhar todas as frustrações e injustiças, qualquer dor, violação de nossos direitos durante este momento difícil que estamos vivendo.
O longo tempo de crisi dá a oportunidade de criar e expressar emoções e sentimentos pelos quais os artistas estão passando e compartilhá-los com o público do conforto de cada casa e do conforto desta bela praia, dunas, paraíso da selva na Amazônia em Região do Pará do Norte do Brasil.
